Thanks, Lucky!

I graduated from high school that year. Roy Orbison was my favorite. Still is!

I was behind you 2 years, graduated in 1966.

One of my favorites of the time was Roger Miller.

I know he hit #1 on the pop charts, "Dang Me" for sure in 1964 and wasn't "King of the Road" late 1964 too?

These were singles too, wonder why they didn't make billboards list?

Good one LT. :thumb: I even got the Lorne Green one ...but missed the singing nun. :yum:

A little more on Roger Miller and "Dang Me":
Miller performed at his first session for the company early in 1964, when he recorded the hits "Dang Me" and "Chug-a-Lug". Both were released as singles, peaking at #1 and #3 respectively on country charts; both also fared well on the Billboard Hot 100 reaching #7 and #9.

Looks like King of the Road made it to number 4 on the Billboard top 100:
Later that year, he recorded the #15 hit "Do-Wacka-Do," and soon after the biggest hit of his career "King of the Road," which topped Country and Adult Contemporary charts while peaking at #4 on the Billboard 100.

I didn't realize Roger died in 1992. :(
