Tomorrow night I'm fixing Dijon Beef Tips over egg noodles, with asparagus on a bed of mixed greens for my daughter and her boyfriend - at her house, no less. Being retired now gives me a chance to cook more, although I still have no motivation to cook just for myself.

My Mom just had spine surgery Friday and her husband had some bad Chinese food Saturday night, so she asked me to make some chicken soup for them. I added an extra breast and saved it for our dinner.

Farfalle, chicken breast and artichokes in a chreamy pesto sauce. Pinot Grigio.
