so monday din-din soon, 4/18/11

The romaine boat would work also.

Another thought....if you want to do a wrap is you could use a green onion stem to wrap around and tie the wrap to hold it together.

I actually tried that! :yum:

My onion wasn't long enough to get enough "bite" for the tie. I had a pic or two with the green onion as a garnish since it failed as a tie, but I tossed 'em. :lol:

What about spring roll wrappers? Do you have to cook those? I've made fried spring rolls before, but can you eat them raw......or maybe steamed?

I could lay down a spring roll wrapper, then some lettuce, then a bit of lamb mixture, and roll it tight. The spring roll wrappper should hold it together rather well, be easier to handle, and make a nice presentation???

Hmmmm....:WitchBrewsSmiley::WitchBrewsSmiley:

From the cutting room floor, the green onion tie that couldn’t. :lol:

After the wrap and tie failed, I cut it into pieces, but didn't like the look well enough.......too Blair Witch for my tastes. :yum:

Sigh.. no ribs today at the place I went to pick up dinner.
Apparently they will only be doing them now on the weekends :(
I did however get some of my favourite pulled/smoked pork (love those blackened chewy bits), a big fried chicken wing, and the rest.
