Smoked Pork Chops (store bought)

Saw these and had to try them. Fully cooked, just had to heat them through on the grill.

Love 'em! Ham-like, but with a pork chop texture. And White Lightening mustard for dipping.

Excellent for a quick and easy meal, especially with Simply Potatoes!

In the Amana's they are called kassler rippchen and get them from their meat market. Hormel also has them and are quite good. It's Oktoberfest time and should get some.

Couldn't believe the price!
The store had NO regular fresh cut chops of any kind.
I got 2 packs of those, some Smithfield bacon and ground turkey. Lol

Funny you should bump this up today, Sass! I was debating whether I would thaw the smoked chops I have in the freezer or buy a ham steak to go with the yellow beans I bought at the Farmer's Market today.

Leaning towards the ham steak.

After I found these I looked at your dinner combo and decided I'd do mashed sweet potatoes and asparagus with mine.
I might put some white country gravy over the smoked chop.
Still thinking on it.

I got these at Stewart’s Meats and are smoked in house. I grilled them over the coals with cherry wood for smoke.
