Saturday Dinner - 22 August, What's Cooking?

Hot and humid here, but I've been jonesing to try out new recipes for pizza dough and sauce so I started up the WFO despite the heat. Gonna make some Greek tomato salad with local tomatoes, and do some fish on cast iron on the wfo too.... guess the pizza will be an appetizer ;) I'll try to remember to take some pics if the camera lens isn't fogged over with the humidity.

Mine are on! I've been so paranoid since this is my first time to smoke anything that I've probably already looked at that temperature gauge 1500 times :dizzy:.

It's hot here too, especially when you raise that lid :(. Mo beer, please :wink:.

All looks great on here :thumb::thumb::thumb:--the pork chops, the beans and sausage, the salsa, the sticky wings, the bread......mmmmmm.
 
Pizza was good, salad was EXCELLENT, fish was ... eh.

(this is an old picture of Linguini with Broccoli Aglio Olio) we had this for dinner only with Barilla Piccolini - Mini Fusilli instead of linguini.

lol, i guess i started early. my first time was 1978, in a graveyard in pennsylvania. when i woke up the next day, my butt said that i died in '68.

lol, ya know, i found the best way to teach someone that they're not realizing the secrets of the universe when they're tripping is to record them. you find out that you just sound like a blithering idiot, as amusing as it is.

ok, back on topic. i'm goin' home, so i have to decide. souvlaki, a reuben, chicken parm, sushi, wendy's, popeye's, or texas weiners? i can't decide. i'm kinda sick of eating all of these things.

texas weiners (from the hot grill in clifton if possible), a wendy's ceasar side salad, 1 popeyes biscuit, popeyes hi-c fruit punch and a popeyes cinnamon apple pie for dessert.

Dang, Vera, that looks great! I went to a Braves game last night and had dinner at a place called the Bullpen just outside the park. A bbq sandwich, baked beans and two glasses of white zin.

But my camera is different, the butten with the flower is on the back of the camera where I view pics after taking them.

When do I push the button, before I take the pic?????
 
yes lifesaver press the flower button b4 u take the picture

some basic reading about the button.. also make sure you have as much lighting on as you can get..i have bright lighting in my kitchen so i try and take the pix in their when possible.. there could also be something like an autoflash button of some kind

and as QSis mentioned, make sure your batteries are not dying

Lifesaver, I'm so glad that you have begun to share your dinner pic's :biggrin:. My two cents--it looks like you are not giving the camera time to focus before pressing the button all the way down to take the pic. I can still tell that your dinner was mighty tasty. :thumb:
