We Just were notified Nancy’s sister, Bonnie, passed away this afternoon…. Didn’t see that coming as she was doing so well. The sad thing is, her DIL’s mother passed away a few days ago. Now it’s wait and see what the arrangements are. Bonnie is the sister we went to see in NH a few years ago.

Bad news for friends and family. Our oldest sister, Bonnie Pomasko, died unexpectedly today. Although invalided for many years she’d loved keeping up with family and friends on Facebook and posting recipes. She was also an avid baseball fan. She married Nick Pomasko in 1971 and they had their son Eric. Nick and Bonnie later divorced but both lived in New Hampshire. Bonnie lived together with her son Eric and his wife Karen in Peterborough NH where she had retired from the Postal Service. Karen’s mother died last week, also after a long illness. Plans pending but Karen and Eric will follow Bonnie’s wishes: cremation and burial in Iowa. Arrangements will be announced later.
