Ingredients: Organic Tomato Puree, Organic White Vinegar, Organic Cane Sugar, Sea Salt, Organic Onion, Organic Allspice, Organic Cloves, and Organic Cayenne.

Today I picked up a bottle for under $3 and will give it a try.

It's interesting. It has cayenne and allspice so the pepper gives it a bit of a bite. It also has cane sugar but is not as sweet as the Del Monte we normally use.
There is a homemade ketchup recipe for those of us who cannot find this one or anything similar in the supermarkets.

12 oz Tomato Paste
1 1/4 cup Water
1/2 cup Vinegar
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
1 tbsp Onion Powder
1 tbsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Allspice
1/8 tsp Ground Clove
1/8 tsp Cayenne Pepper
DIRECTIONS
Combine all ingredients and stir until blended.
Transfer to sealed container and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.

After looking at the ingredients on the bottle, if you were to follow the recipe that Sass Muffin provided it would be pretty close. Portland doesn't use brown sugar but uses white cane sugar.
I tried one bottle but now will try making my own version. My pantry is loaded with more than a few bottles of Hunts and Del Monte I get on sale at the commissary.

It is a tomato paste / apple (sauce) mix. I like it ok but the consistence was difficult getting used to.
