Now why would I go out & buy THIS piece of junk, when I can get the same results much faster with 1 pull-string chopper (below)!! Who else agrees with me?!! Junk!!

I'd agree. Looks like junk. Cheap junk.

My wife loves her chopper. Hers broke sometime last year and she shopped and found one even bigger so she bought that. It gets a lot of use.

Yeah, I had one like the one above, & the thing just wouldn't even work!!I ended up throwing it away!!! Bought a small pull-string chopper & I've been happy with it ever since!! Great for mincing things for potato salad!!!! The point was to not have to drag out the heavy food processor for small pesky little jobs!! Looks like something from those As-Seen-TV crap ads that offer you something supposedly for free, then they make you pay a separate fee!! :whistling:

It just takes even more time messing with this piece of junk trying to do a simple job than just doing it by hand!!!!!! :whistling: :(

It looks like THIS. Just put small pieces of food in it, put the lid on & grab the handle & pull the string, depending on how fine you'd like the food to be. You can pull on the string on how many times you want to!! It spins a small blade inside. When you're done, just take the lid off, empty out the food, & rinse it out. Let dry, & you're out of the kitchen in record time!! Keeps you from having to drag out the heavy food processor all the time for those pesky little small chopping jobs!! I love it!! It's the best thing to come along since the big food processor!! Also, it's great for chopping up garlic gloves!! :whistling:

Pull a string? lol how many pound test is that string? I can see that needing replacing someday. Hopefully it’s easy to replace.

It IS & it is relatively cheap to replace. Had mine for a few years & it still works great!! Try it, you'll see!! I'm quite surprised that you didn't know about this!! Actually, it replaces an electric piece of junk that just wouldn't work. I use it all the time for small small little pesky chopping jobs. The big food processor, I use for heavy duty jobs like chopping meat for burgers, etc. Just pull a string & your onion is chopped! Hah!! :whistling:

I have one like the one in your first post. I don’t think you like that style? I payed more than $1.99 and I like it. I use it when I make cheese tortellini salad for all the veggies instead of chopping by hand.

But you’re right, sometimes anything is better than hauling out a big food processor. I use mine maybe once a year.

The other day, I used the pull-string chopper to chop onions, green pepper & celery to make the soup. It chopped the stuff much quicker than the food processor!! Afterwards, all I did was just rinse the remainings out of the thing!! Got me out of the kitchen in record time!!!! :whistling:
