Pickled Asparagus

Yesterday we did the drive to Naches and bought 30 pounds of local asparagus. We took I-90 home and dropped off half to DIL. Today we are making pickles plus giving some to friends.

Nancy made pickled red onions using leftover brine from pickled asparagus making. She added hot peppers to the brine so they have a nice tang.
