Heinz is taking ketchup upscale, launching a new version of the classic condiment blended with balsamic vinegar

First to be available to Facebook fans, then to be available
in "select Walmart and Safeway stores".

Ketchup with Balsamic Vinegar should be pretty good. I also like ketchup and malt vinegar especially on fries. My favorite general purpose balsamic vinegar is Colavita and I use their other vinegars as well. It is fairly inexpensive but still has a fairly rich taste. Now I also have some that is like maple syrup in thickness but the stuff is about a $100 and ounce so doesn't get used except for really special stuff.
