That one pic, view from the deck, reminded me of the movie the Summer of '42. Something about the trail and the grassy hill obscuring the beach...

So where is this, Lee? What state? Yours?
 
Keltin, imagine the fun and the MEALS we'd have if a bunch of NCT'ers rented that house!

Yes, Chow - the house is on Craigville Beach in Centerville, MA. On Cape Cod.

Next week would have been the week Mom, Aunt Mick and I vacationed there. This will be the first time in 10 years that we aren't going.

But, so not to be TOO sad, I am spending a long weekend over Halloween, on the Ogunquit, Maine beach with some wild girlfriends! LOL!

What an idea. Like you said imagine the MEALS. :eek: There would be some good eating there for sure ...and lots of fun no doubt. I imagine it would be the first vacation I'd have ever been on where folks might argue over who GETS to cook, instead of who HAS to cook. :yum: Might need a house with more than 3 bedrooms though ...or two houses in close proximity. It would be a blast. :D :thumb:
 
Thanks for sharing Lee. I am sorry that your mom and aunt both had to move. I knew you were getting near that point with your mom but hadn't realised the extent of it all.

Can I ask... what IS your stepmother doing to get that look on her face????
 
Thank you for the caring words, Penny. It's been a rough year for all of us.

Let's see, I took the picture of Gerry last Christmas Day, and she'd made boeuf bourguignon. I'm guessing that she's sniffing the wonderful aromas of that dish, LOL!

LOL - I thought it was a tub of icecream she was holding and I really couldn't put the face with the tub - so to speak!!
