Yeah, it's a trip. He actually favors his grandfather for the old school country. His voice lends very well to that style, although his lyrics might make his grand-dad roll over! Still, he has that old school sound down.
 
Oh, and about Kid Rock. Kid had attached himself to Hank 2, and Hank 3 was sick of it, so that's why the lyrics.
