Saw Lou @ Lakeland Community College in '73. Long hair was the rage. He had a burr cut and his hair was orange. "Intro and Sweet Jane"

The Steve Hunter/Dick Wagner intro to this song set the benchmark for rock guitar. Absolutely stunning-36 years later it still sounds fresh! Great post Mike!

Found it! Due to the fact that they made everyone wear the commemerative t-shirt to get onto the field, I'm not patient enough to find myself. Much like my little league days, I was in right field:yum:, playing a white headless Steinberger. I was next to a hippie sort of fellow playing a Sunburst Stratocaster with a Vox AC30 strapped to a two wheeler. He and I got into an extended "Space Truckin'" Jam after SOTW was over.

The Leningrad Cowboys is a Finnish rock and roll band

Speaking of Finnish rock bands, Laika and Cosmonauts the were one of the most highly regarded. Playing their brand of "Surf" music (do they even surf in Finland?). They just broke up/retired last year, after a 20 year run. Here is one of my favorites, "C'mon Do the Laika"

I do love my Surf music!

I don't know if this was posted, but it's worth seeing again. Sent to me by one of my BFFs for support.
