thank you peeps mama Luvs everybody's dinner looks great mama your chops look mouthwatering. Luvs that's got to be my favorite way to eat comfort food taters and peas with gravy of course.

Cooksie I used a box of oven Fry chicken coating that you get it in a store. I actually like Vons is much as I do Ralph's but I think Ralph's is Kroger's and Vons is Safeway. I know everybody has different chains as hard to tell you a product that you may not have. But anyway I just rinse the chicken off and patted dry very dry and put it in a casserole pan with a little oil after coating it with this chicken oven. Bake mix 400 for 50 min. Pull them out of the oven. Add a little water and dissolve the there's a word for it. I can't think of right now little pieces of chicken and coating and basically clean the pan with hot water over the stove added some milk. S&P and wonder of flour to make the gravy just your basic pan gravy. I used to make this on the boat a couple times a week when we were out the captain loved it. He also wanted biscuits with it, which I obliged.

I'm going to do a replay of last night's dinner oven fried chicken breasts with gravy made from the pan drippings, mashed potatoes and peas comfort food to me.

Beautiful!!!

I hope you get to feeling better Peepers.

I browned some thick cut pork chops and added a combination of beef consume, cream of mushroom soup and Lipton Onion Soup mix and baked them at 300° for 2 1/2 hours....they were fork tender!

Oh Yummy! That looks fantastic.

(May I ask you, what is Beef Consume?)

What a pretty plate, Guts. It all looks delicious.

Looks wonderful, Mama. I'm getting hungry for some mashed potatoes!

Peeps, hope your roast was delish and have a relaxing evening after a hectic day.

I made surf and turf today. I took a very thick ribeye and tried to split it in half to make two thin ones. What a hack job! They looked so pathetic I had to make the shrimp to make up for the looks of the steaks. I gave my DH the pretty one. Mine was in pieces. Ugh! Never again!

Thanks! I'll have to give that a try.
