aww, man, looks like i missed a good time.
it just wasn't a good night to be out celebrating after my neighbor, the last of the neighborhood old timers, passed away. she was a very sweet lady who would have been 89 this saturday. her husband passed away 2 months ago, so at least they weren't apart long.
i promise no one else will die so i can make the next get together, ok?
(lol, that reminds me of the joke about when the band u2 were in scotland, and when bono walked out on stage slowly clapping his hands, he remarked, "every time i clap my hands, a child in africa dies."
so someone shouted, "well stop clapping your hands, ya cruel bastard!")
