I've been seeing the authentic recipe for these for years now.
Some say there was added vinegar and oil.
I sure don't remember that.
The important thing is to wrap these and allow the flavours to come together for a day.
We loved these back in the day.

I loved those and got them all the time. another thing K-Mart had I liked was canned bacon from Denmark. I used to buy it for camping.

I went to Subway today and had the girl make me one of these lol
She said, "so basically you want the cold cut combo".
I said no, I'll read you off the list of ingredients, so she made it.
Cold cut combo has cucumbers and green peppers.
I asked for a little mayo too.
Otherwise it's spot on.

Looks delicious! I haven't had a sub in ages, but I'm due for one soon. Always an Italian.
