It's Hump Day, what's for dinner? Wed. 8/19

Well we ended up having steak fajitas.

That's wonderful Barb! Simply wonderful! Not only do these fajitas look great, but there is always a very special place in my heart for a meal done completely on the grill. Awesome job!!!

Thanks Keltin!
Once I start on the grill I like to finish it all on the grill. Everything tastes so much better and it's easier too!

Keltin's Potato & Sausage Soup was a smash hit with DH and our friend, Rob. I paired it up with Grilled Cheese sammies on wheat w/ tomato. Great combo! :chef:

Nice looking grilled cheese, Newnork. Super pic.

I was thinking of getting a similar grill pan, Barb. Great looking meal and you're right, it's nice to cook the whole meal on the grill. Especially with charcoal (I imagine). Might as well get your use out of them. I'm still kicking around getting a charcoal grill to go with my gasser and smoker.

I wish I could find a sub like that around me, Lefty.

Thanks Fred!

That grill pan was the only one I could find that fits good on the Weber. lol It works out well.

ribs are pretty easy to do... take it slow... depending on how u like ur ribs... fall off the bone are the easiest to cook... 3 hours on the smoker,2 hours wrapped in foil with some liquid, 1 hour back on the grill to firm up and add sauce..

in my UDS, i smoke for 2 1/2 hours, wrap for about an hour...then glaze and firm up...thr ribs will generally tell you when they are done..either the meat will pull back from the bone about 1/4" or when u have done enough ribs, you know by how they feel when u pick them up..they bend a certain way

Go for it Cooksie just get it smoking and to temp (200 - 250 approx) before putting the ribs in and leave it alone for a couple of hours before checking them. As for the Rib Eye's I had 1 tonight for dinner along with your Mustard Potato Salad (with a few more ingredients of mine) as well as a cucumber salad and corn on the cob.

Thanks guys! I'm going to try. I bought the ribs and have the wood. Probably won't do it until this weekend. I also want to put a turkey breast on that I have to thaw. If things go well , I will take pics, if things go to hell , there will be no evidence.
