It was an enjoyable experience though! Great family Mav!!! :thumb: Plus you have the nicest looking house on DE block!
 
It will look better once the flagstone wall is re-done! I think I can manage about 2 feet a day or so... so gimme a week on it LOL!
I am more excited about the back though!

That back is nice! Once things start blooming it will be fantastic. Bet the two dogs will enjoy it too!

DW won't let me post photos of the back yard until it is cleaned up and done, LOL! I can put on some pics of the front yard though since it is under construction and doesn't look so baaaad!
 
Butterfly milkweed, red milk weed for perennials. Sometimes they will leave Geraniums alone.... that is hit or miss if they are hungry enough. Coleus, Castor Bean plant, she will look around some more, but that is off the top of her head.
For plants not just flowers there are ferns, grasses, Pachysander, for shrubs box woods barberry.
 
She says her welcome, and just bear in mind sometimes the best defense it so have 'alternate' food available if their regular sources suddenly get scarce. They get hungry enough they will eat everything except poisonous things.
 
We planted apple trees just for them and there's a whole plum grove right next door...

still they love our grapes and garden goodies :)
 
Yes the do, just ask Suzi sometime LOL!! She can't seem to keep anything around with them lurking about.
We did it another way when I was growing up, we put a tall fence around the area and hemmed it in. Gave it an enclosed English Garden style look to everything.
 
PS, Sushi you left your very nice very tasty blue cheese here.... DW says do you want it back before she eats it all?? LOL.
