I may be out of touch for awhile

Hey fellow foodie friends,

I am heading north tomorrow afternoon to accompany my daughter back to the US to spend the summer with friends, where she can hopefully get some needed health care. I'll be staying for a week with my sister in southern Oregon, then up to Portland for a few days to visit good friends I haven't seen in awhile. I'll be returning home on May 9.

I'm taking my laptop, but my wireless card is acting a little funky, so I'm not sure if I'll have contact or not...maybe I can get it fixed there. I hope you all behave yourselves while I'm gone. I'll try to check in now and then, and I'll miss you all.

Ah, you guys are so good. Thanks so much for your kind wishes. I'll return relaxed and refreshed, and happy to be home with Jerry, Milo, Diego, Maggie, Millie, Negro, Smudge, Lucky, Carl, Ray, Uno and Kiki. (Yes, that is alot of pets. Poor Jerry has to take care of them all by himself while I'm gone.)
