How do I post a video that I took on my phone?

I've uploaded it to my laptop but can't get it into my post.

No, but it times out. I'm sure that's the problem - it's too big. My dinner photos are huge when I post here, too.

I scale my pictures down to 650 pixels

The Xenforro software can resize images when you upload those. It cannot do the same for video. Dang it.
