Absolutely! I love the free heat, so I bake lots of my own bread when it's cold out. NY rye, Fritter, Raisin Cashew, and more. I usually bake later in the day, because if anyone stops by and catches me, I have to share!! Haha.

Made this tonight and love it! I used a Macintosh (my favorite) and omitted the bacon, since I was serving the salad with a BLT. But even so, the combinations of flavors and textures is wonderful!
