In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes (if using). Set aside.
Cook the Sausage:
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the sliced sausage and cook for about 3-4 minutes, or until the sausage is browned and slightly crispy.
Cook the Shrimp:
In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until they turn pink and opaque. Be careful not to overcook them.
Sauté the Broccoli:
Add the broccoli florets to the same skillet and sauté for about 4-5 minutes, or until they are tender-crisp. You can add a splash of water and cover the skillet for a minute to steam the broccoli, if desired.
Combine and Add the Sauce:
Pour the prepared honey garlic sauce over the mixture.
Toss everything together and cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce thickens slightly and everything is well coated.
Serve:
Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds and freshly chopped green onions, if desired. Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles for a complete meal.
