Has anyone tried fully-cooked bacon?

I guess I knew it was around, but I just really noticed it in the supermarket tonight.

Is it worth getting, maybe for a quick breakfast or crumbles on salads?

i vaguely remember that bacon (sans microwaving). was similar to regular bacon- i stuck w/ cooking my own, though.

I don't remember the brand but I didn't care for it. As I recall it was very dry and not that really good flavor we look for.

But it's not even HALF as greasy as the one that you have to cook yourself.

But I put the cooked ones on a paper plate with paper towels and then blot them with another one. Not much grease left.

I, also, usually do that, but if I'm using it to season a pot of greens, string beans or dried beans, the grease goes in the pot with it for more of the smokey flavor.

Also, and at times, I use the grease to fry 2 eggs in it as well. :eating2:
