Has anyone heard from Peeps?

Our good friend Peeps (lilbopeep) usually posts every day, and we haven't heard from her in three days now...I know she was having a tooth pulled, but she usually doesn't let something like that get her down. Has anyone heard from her? I'm getting a little concerned...

I just heard from Peeps, and she has been having major problems with her infected tooth, which had to be pulled. She's been ultra-medicated and hasn't been able to get to the computer, but she's OK. Keep her in your thoughts and send her good wishes.

Thanks for caring and sharing what you found out Karen.
Best wishes Peeps. Hope you are feeling better.

Thank you everyone for the concern and well wishes.

I have been on antibiotics and pain meds for a week. I got the tooth pulled yesterday and I have another week of antibiotics. I am pretty sore but I cooked today.

Good to hear from you today. Know that you are hurting. Just hope that it will all work out in the end.

Feel better, Peep!!

Hope you are getting some help at home, as you recover!

Thank you Leni, Lee and Sass (3 L's LOL) for the well wishes. I am feeling better on the pain level today but now I am dealing with stomach/abdomin pain and am wondering if it may have something to do with the antibiotics and pain meds.

You were having that pain before weren't you?
This is a bit different and didn't start till I started this new antibiotic the day I got the tooth pulled. I have never been on these before - clindamycin 300MG (last week it was amoxicilian but I usaully get augmentin).

One of the known side effects of that drug is abdominal pain.
I can't take it either.
Amoxicillin would have been a better drug prescribed, IMO.
Why the heck didn't the doctor just write you a new script for that in a higher dose?
I was going to suggest Bactrim, but that's not really an appropriate antibiotic for treatment after a dental procedure.

Well if I am still having these pains tomorrow I am going to call and ask him to call in amox for the remainder of the week. The pain in the tummy/abdom has eased up a bit at the moment but last night it was killing me.

Hope you get to feeling better Peeps. I can usually stand a lot of pain but I'm a real weenie when it comes to tooth pain.
