Glass Blowing experience

Wife and I have bdays within 20 days of each other. So our kids bought us a glass blowing experience. Very unique. Lots of fin.

we each make a pumpkin. They instructor stepped us thru what to do. Thank goodness I remembered not to inhale while glass tube was still in my mouth. Whew.
we won’t get our works of art for a couple weeks I will post pics of the finished product once it arrives. For now here are some action shots of the process.

You made those pumpkins? Wow way cool. I always wanted to try that. Looks like there’s an art to it.

No. The pumpkins in the pics above were made by the pros and are for sale in the studio. I will post pics of the ones DW and I made when I get them. They will mail them out when they have completed curing. It takes days. Ours are neat but not near as nice as the ones in the pics above.
