It's a Morel, I'm pretty sure ............ OOPS ! Just saw Sass's post !

Morels are hollow inside. We ordered some fresh ones once and stuffed the largest ones with a crab.meat stuffing. I don't remember whether they were baked, sauteed or fried though. Think we fried the little ones.
