FN- Iron Chef America....Bam?

Bam, do you get the same programming and time we do? On Food Network right now is Iron Chef America. The Challenger is a Texan that actually challenged Morimoto!!

And the ingredient is Chiles. Everything from green peppers to Habaneros. I've already seen chocolate come out!! :lol:

Should be good.

If you're in the US, you should be able to see it now if you have FN.
 
Fried shrimp head are actually very popular in Sushi restaurants. Duff says they are the most flavorful parts of the shrimp.

I don't think the Texas boys did a bad job at all. I would like some of that cake!! Ancho's and chocolate...............
 
Fried shrimp heads are very tasty. They're usually served immediately following your order of sweet shrimp sushi. Take them as fried remnants. No sense throwing them out. I would order the sushi just to get the heads....:D

I never knew about them until I saw them on FN's The Best Thing I Ever Ate: Fried. I'll try 'em if I can find 'em. At least once. I got to!

No prob at all! I was sure Morimoto would take it, but now I'm even more intrigued with the Texan and will actually pay extra special attention to his technique. I'd actually say you have enhanced my viewing and possibly learning, pleasure of this episode. So....:kiss:
 
sadly we dont always get the same programing on FN...i would love to have seen that show...i think i will search around, maybe i can find it streaming

I imagine there is some weirdness along the lines of gerbiling (ala Richard Gere), but if that is your penchant, I’d rather not know. In fact, I demand to NOT know!

It’s food. It’s FRIED. For God’s sake, eat it!
 
shrimp heads are delicious!!!!

there's a bit of fat in there that makes them so.




food, i love amaebi! i look for it every winter.

i'll have to ask for the fried heads next time to go with it.
