Fennel Sausage Stuffing Frittata

A contestant on a PBS cooking show (Great American Recipe) made this and won that round. I thought it looked and sounded good, so I printed it off to make it.

It's good, but unnecessasarily fussy. I'd make it again, but would just make my regular sausage stuffing (I only make it for Thanksgiving) and pour the eggs over it.

What did you put on your tomatoes?

Storebought basil pesto - as good as I can make. Better, actually, since my basil has been really bitter the past 2 years.

It's dark green, despite looking black in the photo.
