How many of you own a water filter?
These come in many forms - either in a water pitcher, container or in a small apparatus that can be mounted on the kitchen faucet.
Such as the one that I own (pictured below).
It's the basic model of the chrome-plated one made by Pur.
It helps to filter out small forum material which could get into your drinking water if you don't have one!
I also use it for cooking water as well.
But please be advised that this can't be used to filter hot water!! Doing so could kill the filter and cause it to stop working prematurely.
When the lever on the right side is flipped down, it channels the cold water through the filter for purely filtered water. A small light flashes several times when the lever is flipped down, and when the light goes off, the water is safe to drink. Flip the lever back up for regular cold water.
