Do-over

OK, this is NOT about a great meal, rather about a recipe that appeared to be great but the results were far from it. I can't place the blame specifically but shrimp were on sale at Freddies and I Googled a lemon, garlic, shrimp, pasta recipe that upon reading was tempting. Well, three bites was all I could stand! The rest went into the trash. Maybe it was one of those days I should have just called out for pizza. Now, I'm looking to regain cooking mojo.

I'm so sorry, MJG. We've all had those days. Sometimes the description and/or the pic make something sound great, when in reality you wouldn't feed it to your dog.

I'm sure you didn't lose your mojo. :chef:

Been THERE, Mr. GJ, a bunch of times!

It's even worse when the dish takes a million ingredients and/or takes a long time to make. You TRY to like it, but ....... uck.

Get back on that horse and make something spectacular!

We have a Labrador. If you know the breed, they eat damned near anything. Add to it, he was a rescue who was on the lamb for who knows how long. For instance, he ate the cilantro I left out on the counter last night.

MGJ I have two labs. I do truly understand what they are capable of eating. LOL

As well as how wonderfully bright they cam make your day.
