I'm well thought out today. I'm going to go to the store and get some sub rolls, mushrooms and mozzarella, then turn the rope sausage and 11 oz of tomato puree sitting in my fridge into sausage sandwiches.

Anyone else decided yet?

Cool Fred. I am making a deep dish sausage and mushroom pizza tonight, with BBQ chicken wings and garlic bread sticks with marinara for dipping. I am going to keep working on the camera as I am hoping to get pics of the final product at least.
I want to show everyone that a proper Chicago Deep Dish crust is thin, flaky, buttery and not bready!

Woke up this morning feeling a little rough around the edges so haven't decided yet. I will probably let my wife do her thing tonight.

I have really got to start making my own pizza, Mav. That sounds great. And that reminds me, I'm out of wings!

We're having chicken and rolled dumplings tonight at DH's request. I found these big wide dumpling noodles in the freezer section at the grocery store, and they are so good it's not worth while to make them from scratch.

DW is having left over beef tips & noodles from the freezer, and I'm having homemade Hungarian Hurka sausage (aka rice sausage)and fried potatoes. We'll both share a salad made with hearts of romain and chopped veggies. I may have a Killian's red with the sausage.

It's gonna be marinated reverse seared porterhouse steak, JoeC's mushrooms, and Luckytrims's brussel sprouts with radishes.

That sounds good I had almost the same last night with marinated flank steak, mushrooms and asparagus. I've not had a flank steak in about a year now but recently got about 10 of them which is about 20 meals for just my wife and me. Almost forgot I got some super looking mushrooms at the local Miejer's store a couple of days ago. I got 3 different types button, baby portobello, and earth mushrooms. I got about a 1lb box of each so I will have the rest of them by Saturday.

Don't eat 'em all in one day. You'll get fat.

I am making what Andy would call chicken tits or chicken boobs. (catering terms of art, I believe) They will be accompanied with a salad and a nice iced tea. I am actually looking forward to it.

I also hope to really get some baking done this weekend. Plans are in place.

well nix my plan...out of chicken stock I only have beef....so instead I am making mushroom chicken with rice and broccoli. Simple yet fullfilling :)

pork chops, gravy, mashed potato... and a salad....
temp is back down to 32 again today and i'm freezing.... need comfort food!

JoeV and homecook live about 25-30 minutes from me--I wonder if we could ever pull off an Ohio meet?
We live close enough that me and DW sometimes walk past Barb's home. You're just down the pike, and I think Wart is somewhere in the area as well. I think we should meet someplace neat like the West Side Market or some other foodie site.

Anyway, here was my ethnic din-din tonight. Hungarian rice sausage (Hurka) and home fried potatoes. Also had a great salad and some fresh cake mix cookies (Carrot cake mix with oatmeal, granola and golden raisins.)

What is that food at the top of your plate, Joe? Is the sausage "leaking" or did one come apart? I never heard of this sausage, tell me about it please. Do you buy it or make it? And man those potatoes look good. I still haven't come up with a side for my sausage and red gravy subs. I better think quick if I'm going to make one.

pan seared fish, fried rice with peppers and onions and some mushrooms. ok not really fried rice but will use season packet for it. some left over pea pods if still good. have a cake to make, waiting for water to come back on so can clean the counters of dirty dishes. been off all day for repairs. wish they would get em fixed for good. the no water days are a pain in the a........

The pizza is in the oven, and I got pictures! LOL. Had to scrap the breadsticks, used the last of the yeast on the pizza crust... sigh.
Oh, and the wings are already chowed down and gone! I could take pictures of the bones I suppose..
