Marinating in a garlic and herb concoction
 
Did you get those at the Amish Market LT? I think we're just gonna have spaghetti here with a toss salad and garlic bread.
 
Who knows? I'll probably be just waking up. I only slept about 2 hours, and have been up since 12:30 am. An hour from now it will be nap time.

The Warden just referred to me as a "Whack-o" for paying that price, but we'll see what she has to say during dinner
maybe baked sweet taters and cauliflower...........
 
I think I'd have to make a sweet potato casserole to go with those! Those look really special!
 
We will be having some kind of fish. I still have some frozen Lake Erie perch. I also have some frozen crabmeat stuffed flounder. I'll make some coleslaw and baked potatoes to go with it.
Or I may make a tuna noodle casserole.

so, dinner will be costco type fruit plates, veggie plates and beer....

I'm bringing smoked salmon dip with crackers and French bread
and Bam's BLT stuffed tomatoe bites.

It looks an awful lot like Catalina dressing to me.

I'm not sure yet. If I get around to cleaning my deep fryer and refilling it with new peanut oil, then I will have battered tilapia and fries to go with them. If not, maybe more sausage subs.

I have nothing against bottled dressings, and I have nothing against utilizing them as a marinade........ but you mentioned the wrong one !! My mother used it like people use mayo; My mother, I swear, would BATHE in that stuff if she could get enough in one place at one time.......By the time I was 14, I would get the hee-bee's just seeing the bottle on the counter..........
..........Ruined me for potato salad thru my childhood.
 
nice pic, Bam- Mine never looks THAT good................I betcha that kitchen has one of those Butane torches in it. Great tool for presenting cheese-topped and Dessert dishes......
 
Thanks everyone, I will try and post pics and a review when I get back... she is actually dressing up for me tonight with make-up and perfume and lip stick!!! Woo Hoo!!

And LOL on your mother! So if I ever want to back you into a corner I now know to just wave a bottle of Catalina dressing at ya!
