Dinner for St. Patricks' day, 2009?

Chow....
if you lose count you just start back at one....

Now that I can keep track of.
Good one Suzi.

And I'm, having my first course right now. I'm not sure about the boiled potato part though, so I had a brain storm about adapting FMDerek's spicy lunch pizza, or whatever he called it. I'm going to be totally winging it in the creation dept though. My thoughts are to sandwich some cheddar cheese (maybe pepperjack, too) between two tortilla shells, cook one side in a CI skillet, flip it, put my toppings on, which at this point consist of my town's world renowned Cherry Festival sausage (only because the local store doesn't have chorizo), and some pico. And of course a close duplicate of Derek's sauce. I was also thinking of refried beans? And of course more cheese on top, then sticking the skillet in a hot oven. I'm going to crumble and precook the sausage in a little oil and taco seasoning. That's the plan anyway. I'm hoping to have this plan figgered out by the fourth or fifth course..... or one as it may be

How do you make your blackened chicken? I'd love to try that, it's hubby's favorite when we go out

Good looking bread sticks and soup.:applause:The great thing about bread dough is that there are so many different shapes you can use with the same recipe. Which recipe did you use for these?

Here's a PDF of different rolls.

I make bread sticks all the time, Mav, but I've never thought to twist them. They look so cool! Next time, I'm getting twisted.

pretty simple .. loads of cajun seasoning (bottle) and sautee the chicken
in butter ...

That's how I make my blackened fish, too.
CI skillet damn hot, toss in some butter, get the heavily cajun seasoned fish in there before the butter burns. Flip. Done.

Busch Light, Q. Used to be Bud Light (I used to drink Bud), but 12 bucks is 12 bucks and pretty much all draft tastes OK. I like Busch.
There, I said it! LOLOLOLOLOL

LMAO Suzi! And thank you everyone.

Joe,
I ended up using a simple white recipe that came with the bread machine, but where it called for 4 cups flour I used 3 cups flour and 1 cup whole wheat flour. I think this is the recipe:

3 cups all purpose flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 1/2 cups water
2tsp salt
2tbsp sugar
4tbsp butter
2tbsp dry milk
2tbsp instant mashed potatoes
2tsp yeast

What's the shelf life, or how long does it stay around here. Two different things (lol).
I was told around a month, Q.
