Culinary school

I will second Mama's suggestion, keep a journal on here for all of us here! Personal I am with Joe in that school somehow seems easier and more 'fruitful' when you are older. I sometimes think when kids graduate high school it would be better for them to go out and work for awhile, do some volunteering or service etc then go to school.
You don't always know what you really want to spend the rest of your life doing right out of high school...

Bob, no, my friend, you do not wish I was your instructor. Trust me.

Apparently, I have a 'kitchen voice' that I use when want something just so, with no screwing around. I love you too much to ever use the kitchen voice on you. I've used it on Lou a couple of times and each time he's threatened to take my cocktail away or not clean up after dinner. Either situation is unthinkable to me.

You'll do fine. It's like Doc said, when you get to a certain age, all the childish nonsense is over and you really can concentrate on learning.

Nothing like taking your work home. My teacher voice comes out at home sometimes as well or at church - does make people look up.

earlier Chef explained that we'll be studying molecular gastronomy! i'm googling it soon.
so, i googled. neat! also we're working with sous-vide cooking & a few other stuffs-like opening a restaurant to the public for a practical grade.
