Today is Columbus Day!! Happy day Christo!!
What you all planning for eatin' today????
Probably should be something Italian, in honor of the day, but I am planning on having breaded, baked chicken tenders, mashed potatoes, and butternut squash!!!:chef:

I'm making the last bear roast from last year. Roasted in the oven with carrots, celery, onions and potatoes.

We went apple picking this weekend so apple crisp and vanilla ice cream for dessert.

It goes two way's....
Some days you eat the bear...and other day's the bear eats You!...hahaha

Looks like the Bear Lost this time!!!!!!!

Bear Chuck is Great...Enjoy

Thanks Embryodad. We love wild game. This is the last of it though. Hubby didn't have much luck this year. Two weekends left though so maybe some venison will find it's way to the table.

I'm a gonna make the Pizza Tonight.

The Kids are coming over.... I gotta get my sauce and dough made N O W !...

I need to run to the store and get some walnuts for the salad.
Steak salad and baked potato.. might have another veg too, not sure yet.

Well, yesterday I smoked two pork butts and the last of my garden jalapenos (ABT's) on my bullet smoker (for me and three other friends who chipped in on the cost).

Today, maybe order out for pizza.

Those look fantastic Lee. Is the sauce sweet, smoky, hot, vinegar, savory a little of everything? It has such nice color.

I made cheesy oven hot dogs, baked beans and coleslaw.

Dessert was Fresh Entenmans powdered doughnuts, and the 4 style ones too. I like the plain.

Thanks Nancy, I tried to make it look as nicely plated as the recipe I'd followed.
You dinner looks very nice too.
Peeps and Jimmy, thank you.
Jimmy, your pizza-- I'll take a slice of each please. :-)
Leni, Trish and Cyn- sounds good. :D
Lee, that pork looks yummy yummy!

Beautiful pizza Jimmy. All my favorite topppings.

Thanks peep Joe, and Sass...

The mushrooms were fresh, and I sliced / salted and pre baked them so as not to add water to the top of the pizza...

I used Three blends of cheese.... All whole and grated by hand.

Mozzarella 1/2
Brick..........1/4
Muenster....1/4 :eating2:

I made that wild mushroom ragu sauce again, with a can of black olives added.
Seared some marinated thin sliced chicken breast and served over pasta this time.
Ended up quick thickening it with cornstarch... and now know exactly how thick
my wife likes her sauces and gravies! which is good.

(Not the best pic, still learning my phone camera's abilities and lack
thereof...)

Hubby had to work yesterday, so we just had a regular weeknight kind of meal - Spinach linguini with white clam sauce, green salad, garlic bread.
