There is a ceramic knife called the Yoshi Blade - As Seen On TV. You may have seen the ads.

I bought one a while back, but I never use it.
It’s the sharpest kitchen knife I’ve ever owned; you can honestly shave with it! I shaved a clean spot on my arm in one swipe!
Honestly, this little knife scares me.
It’s 10 inches in total length, half is handle and half is blade, so a 5” handle and a 5” blade.
It’s a bit too small for my hands, and I’ve more than once nearly put my fingers under it as I was slicing stuff.
Plus, it sits in a drawer in its own protective sheath, so I never reach for it. I use my Chef’s Knife for 95% of my cutting and slicing, and the Chef’s Knife sits in a block right on the counter where I can grab it.
So, if you want this Yoshi Blade, it’s yours. Just say the word. Free of course, and I’ll pay the shipping. I just want the knife to find a good home.
There is nothing wrong with it. I’ve used it maybe 4 times on a wooden cutting board to cut up chuck roasts into cubes for grinding in my meat grinder. It is still as scary sharp as the day I bought it.
Let me know.
