You can do this with beef tenderloin as well and wanted to get this up today in case someone wanted to make this for the Super Bowl. Did I mention the cracked peppercorns and worcestershire sauce? If you're a garlic lover, this is the recipe for you. It would be too intense for a regular steak (unless you're a garlic freak), as the garlic flavor:meat ratio would be too high. But on the outside of a roast that is sliced into steaks after cooking, it was truly epic.
