Anyone else ever watch Benny Hill growing up? He had this crazy ending theme song. Just a bit ago, DW had the cable box set to listen to country music (she likes that sort of thing) and an instrumental song by Chet Atkins called Yakety Axe came on. I’ll be damned if that isn’t the Benny hill theme song……or Benny’s song borrowed from it. What a flash back. :biggrin:
 
You should of seen his shows not in the US but in England, he was hysterical. There are a few other English comedians in that period that where also great that never made it hear. It took either going to England or having a knowledge of there slang and terms to understand a great deal of the humor. I was lucky in that I had a English couple next door that used to come over and catch it at our house. I leaned a lot about the English and Great Britain that later came in handy. Really funny fun people when you get to understand their sense of humor.
 
yup we use to watch him every night at 11:30pm, just before the station went off the air at 12am

i loved his show..what a pervert..lol
