I haven't added to the collection in a long time, but I love gargoyles. Just always had a fascination with them.

mainly portraits of Benjamin Franklin with a few of Andrew Jackson for good measure.

Vintage kitchenware of all types, african american Barbie type figures, fishing gear, antique furnishings, pink depression glassware, and vinyl records [r&b, jazz, soul, blues, etc.].

Does dust count????? :yum:

Mainly DVDs these days, but I still have my Comic Book collection from when I was a kid. Around 600 books, all bagged and backed, from the late 70's & early 80's. Oh, and foreign money, especially coins.

Old medicine and medical bottles and packages. (HAD around 500, sold many, now have about 100). (Including a bottle of liquid smoke from 1903.)
Swords and bladed weapons.
Found on the ground figurines. Little dropped action figures; I bring them home.
Cool things. Maybe a lump of coal from a local creek bed, or a water carved driftwood or a turtle shell or a pretty rock....

Yes, I am an accumulator.

My wife calls it "junk", I call 'em "collectibles". Various parts off of motors, engines, pumps, just about anything mechanical that can be used to make something else with.
Much of it just sits there, but as soon as it goes to the scrapyard............I need it!, so, I keep it!

I used to collect women, but they cost too much.

Kitchen do dads!! anything odd shaped/colored in the way of dishes and things food can be served in, pots, pans of all sort, utensils etc.

I used to collect frogs... glass, paper, wood, silver what ever I could find... but stopped years ago.

I have a small collection of salt cellars.

But mostly I just keep on collecting recipes and cookbooks now. Have way toooo many!

Diamonds...

.....and emeralds.....

.............and rubys............

If anyone has any they don't need, I'll PM you my address.

(Really, just cookbooks)

I don't really collect anything except maybe cookbooks and house plants, but mhend reminded me that I had this little guy in the closet. He used to sit on my coffee table. I think that I'll bring him back out and put him back on display. Lol--he is uber ugerly and gets some weird looks from visitors.

I have a collection of old coins since I was a kid and now as well foreign currency since my hubby has been traveling to give to our daughters when they are older to see where their dad has been.
I also of course collect recipes/cookbooks. I love finding old cookbooks at yard sales. I just recently found an early 1930's bread cookbook :)

And recently Hubby and I have started collecting old records, we have framed our favorite jazz and old school favs for our game room walls! We prob have a collection of at least a couple thousand! (its starting to get a bit our of control!!)

Cooksie, I love him! Oh, and I love the looks they get. LOL!

No!

When I was a little girl, I collected horse figures. Which stayed in a box when I moved out and I just donated.

I could never see the point of collecting stuff.

I do have one windowsill of Swarovski crystal animals that I love because the sunlight creates prisms in my kitchen, but I hate washing them!

After cleaning out my mother's and my aunt's households in less than a year, I will never look at a yard sale or any "collectible" the same way again!

I am going to be even more Spartan than I already am!

Cookbooks, recipes, and over the last few years, I'm replacing my Pyrex and other old cookware with Le Creuset stoneware and enameled cast iron. I have a 35% off coupon on my desk right now
