GG, how did you make the potato salad? Did you just use a vinaigrette instead of mayo?

Thanks! re: Irene, we're doing fine. There was no high water near us (the nor'easter a couple years ago was worse), there are no new holes in the house, and we never lost power. We walked around the block - there are a lot of mostly small branches and twigs down, a few large branches, but the neighborhood's in good shape overall.

Our downtown area a couple miles away was evacuated Friday and I haven't seen an update on how it is there now. It's a 400+ year-old historic neighborhood - I hope the damage isn't too bad.
