LilyLove - we taste like chit to sharks but not to gators.... they like to call us "people pie" LOL

Hurricane season officially starts June 1st but the rainy season doesn't really start until the 15th. How do you say... "go figure?"
 
Would you believe that I think it will really happen this time? I am fairly close to making arrangements for the mid to end of April. (Last two trips, thank goodness I bought insurance because they both had to be cancelled)

Edited to add, did you know I promised Cal dessert in the bargain?

Buzz, do you remember the beautiful young woman who was sitting on a bridge over a canal at Markham Park? I was in S. Fla when she became alligator food. She had been jogging and was relaxing after her run and the alligator pulled her in and dragged her under. They found the gator and shot it and found her inside--or at least parts of her. It was so horrible.

There have been countless attacks down here close to the swamp. A fellow I know was fishing a golf ball out of the water a few years ago and was attacked by an eight footer. The gator was dragging him back into the water as he beat on him with a golf club. The gator let go after a couple blows to the eye but it took more than six months to get rid of the infection. Them ol' gators got some bad ass potty mouth.
