Another person I know moved to Hospice

Tortes Are Us
Sometimes it hits me like a ton of bricks when people get moved to hospice. Some folks feel happy because their loved one is going to meet their Lord. I, however, feel such anguish and sadness when it is someone that I know or that it is the parent of someone that I know. I know death is part of life but it is not an easy part to see someone's life come to an end or to watch the slow march towards death when someone is losing themselves little by little to dementia.

I have such a long prayer list and my list keeps growing. To those who seek comfort, I hope you are comforted. To those who are weary, may you find rest. This too shall pass.

I know of what you speak, Susan. That was a lovely post ... thank you!

And I wish you comfort, rest and happiness, too!

PieSusan,
I imagine as a caregiver, you see more people moved to Hospice than the average person. How fortunate they are to be on your prayer list.
I have a long prayer list too, and I Thank God every day, that I can bring a twinkle of happiness to the terminal patients I deliver medicine too.
I also get recoveries, and that is special too.
Very Worthy Post PieSusan,
Thank You
