They all look great!! Do you have a link to the smoker that I can check out?

Thank you SS. But I was thinking it was a store bought one. I can't build one. Hub isn't all that interested in a smoker but if I can find a small inexpensive one I may be able to slip it by him without to much hassle.

why cant you build one..

if you can use a pair of scissors, you can build this smoker...drill a couple holes(very thin metal, very easy),add a cooking grate. experiment with it..even bad BBQ is better than no BBQ especially if you made it yourself

We have a Weber BBQ but not a smoker.

Name her Linda after Linda Hunt. Small package, but explosive delivery every time. Silverado is one of my favs with her, but she's done so much more.

Linda!!

If you don't fit the world make the world fit you!!

I love the whole cast of Silverado!!

Awesome wasn't it!!
YUP!! I think ONE of my fav scenes is when costner rolls out from under the bar ramp, goes out the swinging doors and with crossed arms shoot both guys one on each side of the building. OH AND the scene after they escape jail and costner is making all the noise coming down the stairs and kline tells him shhhhhh. Damn the the whole movie is a good scene!! LOL I LOVE Jeff Goldblum!

ummmm what kinda weber bbq? any weber can be turned into a smoker
One Touch Silver is what it says on the Owners Guide (not sure which size it is 18 1/2" or 22 1/2"). But I am not going to do anything to it! LOL It took me a long time to get my hub to consent to a BBQ!! LOL

one can still add charcoal... just use some tongs and an oven mitt. Yes, you lose a bit of smoke because of the time it takes to do that, but not much. I don't have grates that flip up, either.

I use smoker chips but only for the short time it takes to do a steak. I never did anything large or for hours.

I guess there's a first time for everything! Try it out, it's worth it. I did some turkey thighs and legs last summer that were delish! (That was on the bigger one). You could start maybe with some chicken parts.

That 2nd cooking sure went well. Those look awesome. Did you leave the bacon on the ABT's inside the meatball? How did those taste? Looks very interesting.

the 2nd cook went very well...i am surprised at how well the mini holds heat.

i cooked the jalapenos in a mixture of brown sugar, water, coke, garlic powder until on the soft side. i let them cool then stuffed with cream cheese mixture.i figured by the time the jalapeno softened on its own inside the meatball, it would be way over cooked.

but as to your question, nope no bacon, but next time i am going to put bacon on the outside :w00t:

with the leftovers i made loaded baked potatoes with pulled chicken
