Thanks Andy.
Folks this can be any side dish that you are serving with the main dish cooked outdoors. Maybe the side dish is also cooked on the grill, but maybe not. Cooked inside is okay also.
Please post some entries soon.

Grilled Romaine Lettuce

Cut 2 hearts of Romaine in half, lenthwise. Brush both sides of lettuce with olive oil and season with whatever you like (I used Adobo, Mrs. Dash and black pepper).

Grill on hot grate, starting with cut-side down, then flipping once, to char on both sides.

Add salad dressing, if you like, or sprinkle with bacon bits or blue cheese crumbles.

Grilled red potatoes

Cut small red potatoes in half.

Nuke 4-5 minutes until almost tender.

Brush with olive oil and sprinkle with S & P.

Place on a grill topper, cut-side down, and grill on both sides till golden.

Serve with butter, sour cream, chives.

Foil Pouch Sweet Potatoes
3 cups peeled, cubed sweet potatoes.
Set in the middle of a 16" square sheet of Al foil.
Toss with a TBSP+ of olive oil, 1tsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp allspice
Bring up corners to make a tepee and set on grill over medium heat for 15-20 minutes.
Peel, core and slice into chunks 1 large apple.
remove from grill and add apple, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/3 cup orange juice. Close and return to grill for another 15-20 minutes.

My side salad tonite. Fresh from the garden tomatoes and cucumber. With boiled egg,mushrooms,pineapple and blue cheese dressing.
