12. Martini on the Rock

...and they fiddled as Rome burned. Makes as much sense as eating shark fin soup to increase virility.

Sorry, but I just think it's wasteful to spend that kind of money when it's just going to turn to _ _ _ _! Of course, you can take a picture of it the following morning just before sending your money down into the whirlpool in your American Standard!:yum:

I wonder if you get to keep the "crystal goblet with an 18-karat gold spoon" and "the diamond of your choice." Even then, wow - that kind of excess is part of how the economy ended up as it is. There's a huge imbalance in compensation for different types and levels of workers.

Very interesting...

I have a 1983 bottle of Dom Perignon Champagne which was given to me as a gift some 20 years ago. Anyone know if that vintage is worth anything? No case, just unopened bottle only.

Saffron I can understand once you know how hard it is together but then a little goes a long way. As for the rest above my pay grade and tastes. As for Kobe Wagyu Beef, I had a steak in Japan when there and wasn't impressed with the texture which was more like mushy feeling to me. Perhaps a bit too much fat though it did have a good flavor.
