This week was the start of the VA Art Show which is being held at the Tacoma Art Museum. Nancy took first place in fibre media, and an honorable mention with her apple painting. We were all quite proud. The awards were made by the Tacoma a glass blowing crew at the museum.

Nancy bought black and red raspberries today and is making freezer jam. The black raspberries look like Marion berries.

One of the ladies at the Port Gamble quilt shop recommended we eat at The Proper Fish on Bainbridge Island and glad we did. We shared onion rings and could’ve finish them, Nancy had fish tacos, and I had two meals - fried oysters, and English fish and chips. I could only eat two oysters, Nancy...

We Just were notified Nancy’s sister, Bonnie, passed away this afternoon…. Didn’t see that coming as she was doing so well. The sad thing is, her DIL’s mother passed away a few days ago. Now it’s wait and see what the arrangements are. Bonnie is the sister we went to see in NH a few years ago.
