What are you eating Sunday 2/5/2023 to Saturday 2/11/2023?

So, what was the administrative fee for? More and more restaurants here are starting to use fees if you use a credit card for payment. However, as I understand it, they must post a notice in a prominent place. If they don't, it's illegal to add it. I've also noticed that even if you pay cash...

    Legal Seafood

I have loved their NE clam chowder ever since I had it around 20 years ago, and mostly use a copy cat recipe when I make it.

Craig would go gaga over that short rib dish! Pasta with roasted golden beets, caramelized onions, garlic, beet greens, pine nuts and ParmR. We haven't had this in ages. Sorry I forgot to take a pic before I started eating.

What are you eating Sunday 2/5/2023 to Saturday 2/11/2023?

The sauce was a mix of rice vinegar, a bit of sugar, tamari, sesame oil, and sriracha. I don't use the sauce packs because the MSG or something else in them gives me horrendous headaches. We went to a farmer's market last Friday and they had them. It's the green/beige ball left center next to...

    Frozen dinner recommendations please.

I like the larger size Marie Callender chicken pot pies. The filling to pastry ratio on the small ones is way out of whack to me. I have not had the shepherds pie, which is really a cottage pie, but Craig has and wasn't thrilled with it. They do take most of an hour in the oven, but there is...

    Burn Out

I understand. I did the same thing of buying stuff for meals, then throwing it away for a couple of months. I ended up making a list for 2 to 4 meals each week and realizing we were going to eat out/pick up rest of week. At least we weren't wasting food or money that way. BTW , I WFH for...

    Burn Out

Have you tried any of the Publix Apron meals? The 1 time I was going to buy them, our local store hadn't ordered the ones I wanted. However, I have come up with my own recipe for some of the ones they have advertised. Again, they are more expensive than from scratch, but cheaper than a...

    Burn Out

I burn out from time to time. I used to make Craig cook majority of meals, but can't really do that anymore because his cooking is really hit or miss, mostly miss. So, we get sandwich meat or pimento cheese for sandwiches, or I make something that we can get several meals from, pulled or...
