What are you doing today?

I eat sardines right out of the can. I’d like to know how it was done in olden days as the sardine fork looks to large for small can use. I’m wondering if they are talking about the larger pilchards?
I'm not sure about the dimensions of your fork. Mine is perfect for the little tins of sardines. I have thought of seeking a server, which simply holds a tin so that it is not unsightly on the table. Here is a picture of one I saw on ebay. Again, I find them amusing...cute, etc. My forks work great in the tins lifting out my little sardine! The coffee cup is for size comparison, but the servers are typically big enough to hold the tin. They have been around for about 200 years....I am not sure what they did with sardines prior to when they were sold in tins. Fresh....and bigger....maybe? But my forks were designed for tins.

Trying to find out exactly what the plan is at work tomorrow night.
We're under this severe snow storm warning for ungodly amounts of snow.
So far, I know it's me as the charge in-house nurse in the back ward with 1 aide.
And an agency nurse in the front with an in-house aide.
Our ADON is on call.

Fat chance she'll come in to help at all.
58 residents.
You do the math.

We're dealing with an outbreak of Norovirus at work.
Yay! 😞
Presently, I'm talking with those in charge to see what staffing is for tomorrow night.
Jules put in for a shift to be with me.
Hopefully they'll cancel an agency nurse, and allow her to come in.
I swear, it never ends.

I spent several hours this afternoon at pulmonary clinic and had all the breathing tests done. There have been improvements with lung functions and she made some inhaler changes. I could tell I improved by how much easier the tests progressed. All in all I’m pleased.

I repaired a decoration that I made many years ago. In doing so, I got my fingers stuck together with superglue and ended up using acetone to unstick them. Of course, I still have a film of the glue on four of my fingertips. I'm doing whatever to try to get it off. I'm pretty sure that I won't have fingerprints for a while.
