What's On The Plates? ➡️ 🍽 Sunday October 12 - Saturday October 18 2025

I was out of town for a few weeks but returned for the fella's birthday. He wanted suya, so I made suya, jollof rice, fried plantains and dessert was a bought cheesecake with strawberries.

I was going to make soup, but that didn't happen.
Needing something quick, I did the chicken coleslaw and poppyseed dressing.
It's one of those keto things that Jules and I believe Sharon made before.
This time I used G Hughes sugar free dressing because I wasn't wild about Skinny Girl brand the last time.

I'm not a fan of Skinny Girl. G. Hughes is my go to!
 
We have a carpenter / remodeler working on the house. The house is in a turmoil , so beside that, the grand kids are getting sick, and germy. Tina and I are doing all to not catch it. So meals are not easy to prep and cook. So today, we had BBQ hot dogs, and salad greens. Tomorrow, Tina wants to throw a beef stew together. I can go with that.
The bones are creaking, and we figured out why..... Not drinking enough H20. We are just not a bit thirsty since the cold air settled in.
 
Today I'm going to make Chinese dumpling/potsticker soup. 🍜
I used these in the soup.


I even made a short video when I got things going 😄
Good stuff, made a lot.
It's actually Korean.
