Organic Milk Question

I've been reading about Organic Milk lasting longer than regular milk because of its Ultra pasteurizing process. (Cost Effective). Has anyone found this to be true? What I read says that a milk container, once opened, and kept in the fridge, can last 40 to 60 days. I say BULL! I told my wife about this article, so she got a 1/2 gallon of Organic Milk. Right on the container it says it will last for 5 weeks, "Unopened" and " Use within 7 days after opening." How is this 'Cost Effective"? Regular milk can last up to 2 weeks in the fridge for us.

Totally with you on this 40 to 60 days after opening? That’s a tall tale! Ultra pasteurization makes it last longer unopened but once you crack it open, it’s like regular milk on a countdown to funky town.
